My To-Go Bag

I have a confession.  I have a slight problem with buying purses.  I easily have about three million. As much as Hubs hates it, it is a fact of life that I love to shop and purses are my favorite. :)  With my pounds of purses, I have come up with a system to carry a few things I know I will need with me no matter where I'm going or what I'm doing.  I have complied a few necessities for my purse and I think I would do a blog post about my To-Go bag that travels with me from purse to purse.

I have twelve items I carry in a small Vera Bradley bag.  My Vera bag moves from purse to purse as my outfits change each day.  It is small enough to fit in most of my purse but enough to hold everything I need.  I find myself reaching for each of these items a few times a day.  I use these items whether I am at work, at church, at dinner, or anywhere inbetween.

1. Travel brush
2. Travel comb
3. Travel hair spray
4. Bundle of bobby pins (wrapped in a pony tail holder)

5. Sample of perfume (Coach, from Sephora)
6. Tic-Tacs

7. CheapStick
8. Lip gloss (Drug Store brand)
9. Pink lip stick (Sephora)
10. Nude lip stick (Vera Wang)

11. Fresh Pick Pears anti-bacterial hand gel (Bath & Body Works)
12. Warm Apple Cider anti-bacterial hand gel (Bath & Body Works)

So those are the things that are in my To-Go bag.  Thank you for reading my blog!  Feel free to post a comment, I'd love to hear from you!  Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Target Bargains

I took a trip to Target today and happened along two deals I was happy with.  They were both on sale so I thought they were must-haves.

The first of the two was this pumice stone.  I love to paint my finger and toe nails (obvious, from the name of this blog) and I really try to take care of my feet.  I saw this stone on my way out of the store.  What really cost my eye was the price.  The pumice stone was $2.45.  I saw a few other stones that were $4 and up and I thought that was ridiculous.  I was very happy with my cheap pumice stone for its price but also for it's quality.  I gave myself a pedi tonight and I can say it works very well.  I am very happy with my new and inexpensive pumice stone.

The second item I bought was a 48 piece eye shadow palette by ELF, Target's make up brand.  I saw this palette along with a few other ELF projects on the end of an aisle.  I loved all of the colors but I was blown away by the price.  This 48 piece palette was $5.  I've seen simple palette sets for 50+ and I just cannot spend that kind of money on make up.  I really like make up and I getting dolled up for special events.  However, I cannot justify spend $50 on make up.  I haven't used the palette yet but I love all of the colors and I cannot wait to try them out.

I was very happy with the Target purchases I made today and I am very excited to use them.  I will give you a rating after I use the palette and tell you what I think about my $5 find.  Thank you for reading! Have a wonderful day!
